Key Role:
Serve in an internship program geared towards students who have diverse backgrounds and are equipped to solve the complex and multidimensional problems that Booz Allen Hamilton consultants face every day. Interns will be expected to demonstrate analytic problem solving, present ideas clearly and logically, work with individuals at all levels, provide input to reports and other deliverables, meet agreed deadlines, and adjust to changing demands. Interns will explore and examine data from disparate sources with goal of discovering patterns and previously hidden insights, providing a competitive advantage or addressing a pressing business problem.
Basic Qualifications:
-Knowledge of standard research techniques, statistical analysis, and data compilation
-Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical expertise to perform job functions
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Operational Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology in Winter 2019 or Spring 2020
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with using scripting languages and analytical or statistical software technologies, including Python, R, C++, Java, SAS, AnyLogic, or ExtendSim
-Pursuing an MA or MS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Operational Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field
Clearance:
