Seasonal Garden Care Worker

Job Description
The City of Northfield is seeking a Seasonal Garden Care Worker. This position is responsible for duties including installation, maintenance and removal of annuals, perennials, plants, shrubs and trees at various garden sites and planter locations. Assists in maintaining the downtown area including, but not limited to, mowing, weed whipping, tree/shrub/flower maintenance, weed control, garbage pick up/removal, bike rack/fence maintenance and tree trimming.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, an excellent driving record, and the ability to perform light to heavy physical labor, lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently. Previous experience performing physical labor. Previous horticulture experience.
