Our Embedded Software Engineering Intern that supports our Calibration Solutions business has responsibility for working closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and test software for our [specific product line,
e.g., automotive control systems, smart home devices].

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of embedded software applications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Write and maintain code for embedded systems in C/C++.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Document software designs and development processes.
  • Engage in learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in embedded systems.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++.
  • Basic understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems development tools and environments (e.g., Eclipse, Keil, GCC).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous internship or project experience in embedded software development is a plus.
