The Client Specialist drives for maximum account retention through managing and servicing specific accounts. The incumbent provides continuing education to these customers on the test ordering process and resolves service issues in support of accounts. The Client Specialist will work in close cooperation with the Sales Director, Healthcare Provider Account Executives, and Account Managers.

This position is largely remote but will require travel across Oregon and Washington. The ideal candidate will reside in Oregon or Washington. A company car and gas card will be provided.


  • Work closely with Professional Lab Services- Health System, Management, to manage existing Quest business and support relationships with our joint venture partner.
  • Develops and executes cross functional and cross segment strategies which are in line with overall Company objectives to protect business.
  • Develop, manage, and cultivate relationships with C-Suite Executives which may include scheduling quarterly meetings to drive successful project management to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitors and ensures customer satisfaction with on-going service provided; develops implementation plans for securing support by coordinating the efforts of Quest internal partners.
  • Presents recent achievements, ongoing activities regularly with the Sales Director and other key internal partners.
  • Schedules, facilitates and document Quarterly Business Reviews with Executives.
  • Collaborate with business unit operations and customer solutions team to maximize customer satisfaction. Building strong internal relationships within customer solutions, lab operations and logistics is crucial.
  • Represents Quest Diagnostics at all healthcare events.
  • Works collaboratively with Lab Director.
  • Ensures compliance with all Company policies and government regulations.
  • Attends all Lab Executive meetings.

Work Experience

  • At least five years of experience in either direct service or business development. Experience with Health Systems is a plus.

Education

  • BS/BA required

Other:

  • Proven ability to develop relationships with executive-level personnel resulting in exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all employees.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience servicing large customer accounts.
  • Able to demonstrate solid communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and conducting Teams Meetings, required.
