The Training Support & Program Coordinator will work in partnership with site Learning & Development and Stakeholders to define learning solutions and lead the execution of agreed L&D projects with the ultimate aim of equipping employees with specific capabilities that enable them to add value and drive competitive advantage for the organization. Partner with site and global L&D groups to design, deploy and manage global learning solutions. Manage the administration of site New Employee Orientation program, support administrative functions within myLearning system, and partner with Training Specialists to develop and deliver learning initiatives.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Support and continuously improve site L&D strategy that clearly defines capability priorities aligned to the business.
  • Oversee and conduct site New Employee Orientation program; including partnering with involved stakeholders, facilitating content, managing internal onboarding site and associated resources.
  • Partner with Business Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and Training Specialists on both site and global L&D initiatives to craft precise learning objectives to develop and deliver learning programs.
  • Define the most effective learning mix (i.e. instructor led, e-Learning, blended learning, social learning) for the agreed target audience, applying the 70/20/10 principles and good instructional design within each learning project.
  • Ensure learning & development solutions are developed and deployed using global frameworks, solutions Globally (across GSK)
  • Advise line managers and employees on the GL&D service offerings, capability standards & their effective application.
  • Partner with site Training Support Coordinators on administration of myLearning LMS system.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Associate's Degree's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience maintaining and controlling sensitive records and documentation.
  • Experience with database management, setting priorities, collecting data and preparing reports.
  • Experience with facilitation and program management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Technical Writing, Process and System Development, Communication, Learning Concepts, Training/Presentation Skills, Continuous Improvement Knowledge
  • 2+ years of previous experience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, etc)
  • Project management and facilitation skills
  • Learning Management System (myLearning) experience
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to facilitate and generate the exchange of ideas to resolve problems
