JOB SUMMARY:
Develop new consumer power products, market analysis, strategic production positions, product-line strategy and product roadmap. Oversee and manage product pricing, model mix and financial proforma. New product introduction, packaging and merchandising development. Coordinate marketing activities and product development interactions with vendors. Identify market trends and refine product development operations. Communicate with management, work with Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering and Sales teams regarding product needs, customer requirements and best-cost solutions. Gather marketplace information on pricing, new products, merchandising techniques, etc.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in related field, advanced degree preferred

3+ years in product development
-
Proven track record of increase market share and margin within product category
-
Analysis skills related to product management
-
Excellent communication, presentation, project management, planning and budget-tracing skills

Problem solving
-
Excellent knowledge of retail business in big-box environment, consumer electronics preferred

Knowledge of global sourcing and procurement cycles

Knowledge of merchandising and packaging solutions
